Kyrtiz Town Center

I know a lot of stuff I post is like a history history lesson.... But it's January and it's cold so.... 

This is a depiction of Knight Basslevist and he tried to take over Kyritz twice. On the second attempt they caught him an burrows him in the town square.

"The Kyritzer strong beer called "Murder" was known at the court and in Hanseatic cities. The name was also an omen and some drinking sprees ended up as scrap"

"The Kyritzer in early days created wealth through their would be. Dealers and Tailors were the first guild. They sat in the council and joined the Hanseatic bunch."

"The Franciscans who founded the Monastary here in the Kyritzer area. The weakening, sick, inform and poor had mercy with God."

Shadows

I will admit that I'm pretty reluctant to post any poems that I've written... Kinda worried someone will steal credit for it... But hey gotta live a little :P so let me know if you like this or think it's any good or if it could use work... Honesty helps!! 

Shadows

Shadowed heart,

Sadness dies,

Lifted heart,

Brightness sighs,

Shadows dwell,

Pulling close,

Poison seeps,

Unhealthy dose,

Shadows yank,

Shadows force,

Light filters in,

Takes it's course,

 

Shadows reach,

Dragging down,

Teeth gnash,

Lips frown,

Mind opens,

Eyes see,

Light dawns,

Suddenly free,

Shadows die,

Writhe away,

Light conquers,

Here to stay.

Meet Louie the cat.... (He reminds me of Garfield) In the second picture his mom is laying there... She's normal sized, so that should give you a but of an idea how big this guy is.

FIFA-Wolrd Cup?

Found in Dreetz..... The sports center 

That's how I look in the morning...

All hail the soccer goddess

This statue is a replica of the FIFA World Cup, of the soccer world champions.

-as the ultimate goal of any soccer team- 

Will be passed to the next world cup.

The original is 36 cm high and made of solid gold and weighs 4970 kg. 

This oak replica was carved by Mr. volker schulz 2003 with the support of Oberförsterei Neustadt(Dosse).

Turns out there actually was like... 2 more streets to Dreetz... And a lake (2km away...:-|) And my goats friends (who I named).... And the towns mascot (who's name is now Karl)..

Karl the majestic beaver 

"The beaver is the heraldic animal of the  community Dreetz. Although almost instinct, it can still be found, since 1954 in the Dreetzer lake.

An adult beaver can be up to 1,3m long and weigh about 30k. His physique is ideally adapted to living in the water. By his cleaver earthy way of life and adaptability he always creates new habitats. 

This 3,5m high and 2,200kg heavy oak wooden figure, was carved by Mr. Volker Schulz in 2002 with the support of Oberforsterei Neustadt/Dosse."
